Update 5/13/17: I've used these boots in multiple snow storms over the past few years, walking through tons of snow. I truly enjoy these boots and have updated my review below to reflect my experience.____________________________I love these boots! After 2 years without real snow boots I did a ton of research this year and decided on Hi-Tec's. The black ones sold out in my size before I could order them so I sadly got brown instead. I am so satisfied with this color! It's darker than pictured and so pretty! The boots themselves look so fashionable. They're not clunky or screaming snow boot.Fit: I was a little worried after reading the reviews about sizing but the fit is perfect. After I pulled them out of the box I loosened the laces completely and re-tightened them to the fit of my foot.Fashion: These look so nice. They're slimmer than any other pair I've owned, tall, with an added touch of fake fur around the top to really scream "winter!"Ease of use: The zipper on the inside of the boot is an added bonus that makes getting in and out of the boots so easy!Comfort: They are warm and light weight. Walking in them is an absolute dream. I was given thick winter socks that I wear with these with no problem. However, if you're going to wear super, super thick socks, order a size up. I stuck with my size 9 and put them on with regular socks and they fit like a dream. Nice and snug.Waterproof: I have used these for 4 snow seasons and have had no issues with water getting in my boots. I have done nothing additional to waterproof the exteriorCons:None! Can't even complain about the price (when I bought them it was between $65-$75) because they have lasted so long, held up so well, and are a genuine investment.Final thought: They are fantastic! They're tall enough to keep the snow out while walking through high snow banks. They're so snug and warm and keep my feet dry. The best part is they're so light and supportive. It really doesn't feel like I'm wearing snow boots. Best shoe decision I could've made. Highly recommend them.
